This Technical Mission is a unique occasion to gather institutions from the European and Latin American Innovation Ecosystems in parallel to the European Commission’s ‘Clusters go International’ event. The four day mission, which will include a half-day session in the European Parliament, will look to promote networking, sharing experiences and ultimately generate concrete partnerships, establishing the basis for the next two years actions in co-generation and opportunity development of technology-based business opportunities (TBBO). ACTIVITIES:
- One half-day agenda within the European Parliament in order to
- Exchange views with members of the European Parliament involved in European R&I.
- Be aware of the future EU plans for innovation from the EU Commissioners and members of the European Parliament.
- Disseminate LAC initiatives in R&I to promote technology-based business between EU and LAC, to a unique audience made of the political, entrepreneurial, academic and scientific elite in Europe.
- Networking and experience Exchange with other innovative organisations and policy makers in Europe.
- Public-Private Collaboration sessions among actors in research, technology development and innovation in Europe and Latin America, in order to
- Define new instruments to support the generation and development of TBBOs.
- Help coordinate and orient existing instruments in order to become more effective.
- Establish agreements and multiplying alliances, involving many EU and lAC SMEs in common businesses.
- Design the ELAN Network as a sustainable entity in the future.
- Define the ELAN Network activities for the coming two years.
